Here's Where It's Happenin'!Monte Carlo Pub & Brewery
I'm talking about the Monte Carlo Pub and Brewery at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The extremely large brewpub is nestled in the back of the hotel near the shopping area. It's a pretty popular place; I have never been there when there's not a line, especially on game days. This is probably because there are TVs of all sizes everywhere (at the bar, in the main room), including two huge projection screens at the very end of the room. Besides just being a lively place to watch the big game, Monte Carlo Pub & Brewery also has good eats and drinks. Thy even brew six types of beer themselves! The different types are (and they are aptly names for Las Vegas):
These beers are priced reasonably, with 16 oz. Pilsners going for $2.95, 23 oz. Glasses for $3.95 and pitchers for $9.50 each. The food is your standard bar fare (they have everything from pizza to sandwiches), with an emphasis on LARGE portions. I personally am a big fan of the Mucho Macho Nachos, which is literally a foot high pile of chips, cheese, beef, olives, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa and guacamole. It really is a meal in itself. I also liked the Burrito Gigantico, which is stuffed full of smoked chicken. Monte Carlo Pub and Brewery' fries are also unique, as they are topped with spicy cayenne pepper. So, if you want to fill yourself with great-tasting homemade beer and food, while watching the big game in style, head over to the Monte Carol Pub and Brewery. For what's Young N' Happenin' on Night Out Las Vegas, this is Awesome Austin Rosenthal! Later!
